Bridger's Brownies...

Bridger has been wanting to make brownies for a few days now, so I finally decided to help him make brownies today. He was super excited to make them, so we got a chair all ready for him, and started making them. I decided I wanted to get a picture of him stirring the brownies, because he looked so cute...and this is what I came back to after getting my camera...

Just some random pics of my cute boy!

We had an "end of year" swim party for Bridger's preschool group at a local aquatic center. Bridger really enjoyed seeing all of his friends and I enjoyed visiting with all the mommies as well! It worked out nicely, because Tina (my neighbor in EM) just had a baby, so she stayed out of the water and took care of her baby and Kenna, while I was in the water with Bridger and Julia. Bridger and Julia were both scared and crying at first, but it didn't take them too long to warm up to it and when it was time to go, Bridger was totally sad! I didn't get any pictures at the pool, so took a couple of pictures of Bridger afterward! He was tired after, so was just chilling, eating grapes, watching a show and playing with cars...that little multi-tasker!

This cute boy is getting so big! I can't believe he is already 3 1/2...he is such a sweet and fun little boy!!

We had ice cream sandwiches and Bridger had a popcicle. He took a few licks, then decided he wanted to save it, so we put it in the freezer...he wanted me to take a picture of it!

These are just some random pictures I took of our little cutie!

We recently started feeding Kenna baby oatmeal. The doctor had suggested it at her 4 month appointment, just since she is a bit smaller and also to maybe help her reflux. I waited until we moved to start her on it, and she has done quite well! She does spit a lot of it out, but that is mostly because she smiles between each bite and when she smiles, she moves her tongue forward.

Josh got an ice cream sandwich for himself and I and a popcicle for Bridger. Kenna kept watching us eat our treat, so I decided to let her have a little lick to see what she would do. She LOVED it!!! She probably would have eaten the entire thing if we let her! I didn't want to let her have too much, I am usually a stickler about letting her have food items before she's "supposed". When we would pull the sandwich away, she would follow it around with her eyes and try grabbing it. She made a huge mess, but it was hilarious! We couldn't stop laughing...I think she may have a sweet tooth already!!!

Oh my word, can I just say that moving is crazy and busy and exciting and sad all at once! We survived the move, but are glad it's over! We had a lot of help with the move from family and friends, so thank you everyone! Josh's brother was in town from California and so kindly volunteered to help us move! Josh and Adam got a lot done during the day, which was so wonderful! We are excited to be in our new house but are trying to get it thoroughly cleaned and make it "ours". The neighborhood is very nice, which is fabulous, but I do still miss all my friends in EM...good thing they aren't too far away! Our first Sunday here, Bridger cried before church because he didn't want to go to a new ward. He told me he wanted to see "Julia and AJ, and Sawyer and Hayden and Ashlynn and Lexi and all my friends." And he said he really liked Sister Fannen and Sister Hansen (his old primary teachers) and that he didn't want new ones. He did well in church though, they said he was really good, so that made me happy!!! In a week or two, we are hoping to be much more settled in and would love visitors, so if you ever want to visit, let me know!!

Josh's Birthday...

And Josh gave her a little taste of the cream...she kind of liked it(and if you don't look closely, it looks like she has a giant tooth!)!

Josh celebrated his 28th birthday on May 12, which also happened to be the day we closed on both homes...so happy birthday to him! It was kind of a crazy day, so we didn't do much actual celebrating, but did have Cafe Rio and Josh's mom made him a cake that he used to always ask for for his birthday (Yum Yum Cake). I really appreciated her doing that, as I didn't have time to make a cake and everything was packed up as well! Oh and after we finished singing happy birthday to Josh, Bridger took it upon himself to hurry and blow out the candles before Josh got a chance!!! Happy birthday Joshy!!

Love being a mommy...

Here are some recent pics of my cute babies! One of these days I will remember to do them when there is enough daylight so that I don't have to use the flash!

Look at how wet her dress is! She loves to suck on her clothes, her fingers and whatever else she can get into her mouth! Oh, but isn't she so cute?!

These next two pictures were taken a week apart, but look at her sucking away on those fingers!!! These pictures were one after the other in my camera...which I thought was kind of funny...

Bridger loves his sister and she loves him! She will follow Bridger with her eyes where ever he goes!

I absolutely love being a mother! I cannot even believe how much I love my two beautiful little babies. It's something that I never fully understood until I had kids, but I love these two more than I could have even imagined! There are definitely some days that are a little crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything! They are worth everything that you sacrifice for them to be here. I am so grateful for Bridger and Kenna! I am also very blessed to have a fabulous mom and mother-in-law! Both have done so much for me and for my little family! Happy Mother's Day!!

The Crow...

We were at Josh's parents' house today. While Josh, Mark and Bridger were outside, they heard a crow caw. Mark asked Bridger what that was, this was Bridger's reply, "It's a freaking bird and it doesn't even tweet like it's supposed to!" Funny funny boy...we never know what he is going to come up with next!

Blessing Pictures...

Awesome Carrie Johnson took Kenna's blessing pictures a few weeks ago and did a great job again!! Miss Kenna was super happy and so smiley the whole time she was getting her pictures taken...what a cutie! They all turned out so cute, thanks Carrie! Tulip Festival Visit 2...

Oh my...isn't that just adorable...

It was way too cold for Miss Kenna, so here is pretty much the only pic of her, we didn't dare get her out of her carseat!

We've been wanting to take Josh's grandma to the Gardens and Tulip Festival for a while now, and it finally happened this past week. We met up at the gardens with Josh's parents and his grandma, had a yummy dinner (thanks Kayley for the Subway sandwiches!), and headed over to the gardens. It was a bit windy, overcast, and cooler, but it was not too bad and it wasn't very crowded, which was nice! We had a great time, and really enjoyed seeing all the different flowers again! This time I was able to enjoy the flowers more, since I had more help with the kiddos...yea for that! There are so many beautiful flowers there...there are something like 1100 varieties of tulips and Thanksgiving Point has 900-something of them there! So, it's very fun to see all the varieties! It is also giving me some ideas for my future flowerbeds! Anyway, we had a great time with everyone, and Bridger especially loved all the attention!
