I finally decided to just put all the rest of the October/Halloween pictures into one mega post so that I am caught up for October...then I need to get November done...which mostly consists of Bridger's birthday thus far...
*To start off with, this is Bridger's preschool Halloween parade/sing-a-long. It was super cute to see all the kids parade around in their Halloween costumes...the kids are hilarious at this age...some don't get it, some think it's weird, etc! Bridger seemed to like it, but would hardly sing...actually only one in his class consistently sang...lol! His teacher is so fabulous with the kids and I know he loves preschool! As you can see from the pics, he is taller than all the kids in his class!
*We had fun carving pumpkins a few days before Halloween! Josh used the dremel...a little power saw (kind of). It worked good, but made a huge mess and didn't make the lines quite as clean as a knife would. I also had Bridger draw on paper what he wanted his pumpkin to look like...so that is what he is doing with the paper and pencil. For Kenna's pumpkin we used little plastic pieces to stick into the pumpkin...we let Bridger "design" it for her.

*We had a Halloween party on October 30th as Josh's parents' house...Josh wasn't able to make it, but the kids and I had a great time! We had yummy chili and other delicious things to eat, played games and had fun hanging out!

*The rest of these pics were taken on Halloween. The first one is perfect to show what Kenna did with her cute pumpkin hat most of the time! And the next one shows how I can't ever get a good picture of her because she won't stay in one place! Josh took Bridger trick-or-treating and took Kenna with them for some of the time. Bridger loved trick-or treating and got plenty of candy (still has too much left!). It was a fun Halloween! We didn't have as many trick-or treaters as we did in Eagle Mountain which was nice (last year we gave out over 200 pieces of candy!).

Bridger had his first ever primary program (for church) on October 24. We are lucky to have very supportive family that comes to things whenever they are able to, so Bridger had a fun little audience there just for him! He did great at remembering his part, but sitting still was another story! Oh my, he was about killing us off! He would randomly stand up, or make faces or cover his ears when it was time to sing, or at one point I motioned to him to sit down, he stood back up and with an exaggerated action, motioned to me to sit down. Yah, he was one of those kids...you know, the ones that are hilarious and everyone is laughing at...but it's way more embarrassing when it's your child! Okay, there were others that were being obnoxious too, but Bridger held his own! He really did great with remembering his line...he had it memorized in no time and his teacher was shocked when they practiced and he didn't need any help. He has a great memory! His line was, "I came to Earth as part of a family." Even though he was quite the little ball of energy up on the stand, we still love our little Bridger...he's as cute as can be! It's hard to believe that he is going to be 4 on Friday!
Well, since I am behind I need to update as to what Kenna's latest achievements are! And she's reached these milestones a while ago... She is now crawling and has been for 3 or so weeks...she used to crawl one little "step" and then be done or she'd roll or scoot, etc...but she finally decided crawling was for her...way to go! She loves the new found freedom but I am being reminded of how much you have to keep things put up to keep them away from a baby! She is also standing up to things...the first time I came into her in her crib when she was standing I was shocked and she was so excited and proud of herself! Kenna is also starting to take steps when we hold her hands, and she seems to like that a lot too! Before we know it, she'll be walking...she's growing up so fast! She also got two top teeth through...they took forever...we could see them under the gums for so long, so it was about time! I love little baby teeth! She is also saying a few different things, like "mama" "dada" "Buh" (Bridger), "uh-oh", "hi", and she mimics lots of sounds that we make. She'll be 11 months on Saturday...whoa!
Josh's work had their fabulous annual Halloween party! It was a lot of fun again this year...complete with chili, hot dogs, cookie decorating, cake walk, "fish pond", bean bag toss, and a fun treat bag for the kids! Bridger was very excited to be able to wear his costume and Kenna tolerated hers quite well!
I have 4 younger sisters and love it! I love when we get to spend time with them, and it is especially fun when the twins (Whitney and Dani) are here...just because we get to have them visit more than the rest of my sisters. Anyway, a few weeks ago, Dani had a long weekend at SUU and Whitney was out of state for a cross country race...so, Dani came to visit since we are closest to her school! It was so super fun to have her here! While she was here, we painted our nails, went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens, stood in line for like 2 hours for the H1N1 shot, made some cute bows/flowers, and more! Here are a few shots from Thanksgiving Point!
October 4: On Sunday, we watched LDS General Conference, played with the kiddos, visited, went for a walk, watched the snow flurries, made cookies and had a great time! I love being at grandma's house...just being there, with nothing else to do is perfect for me! I also love that my kids get to spend time with my awesome grandma!

We took these pictures the day we left. We were so sad to leave...none of us wanted to go home! The trip home went well and was uneventful. Can't wait until we can make it up there again!
