Well, I am way behind, but thought I would quickly post pics from today. We had a fun day today! We made sugar cookies this morning, played GI Joe, had a yummy halibut dinner, made a gingerbread house and watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The kids also got to open their Christmas jammies! They are very excited for Christmas and I am excited for them! Will post more soon!
Bridger had swimming lessons in June...it was awesome, because they were at someone's house here in our neighborhood...it was so nice to just walk there! He had a great time and feels quite comfortable in the water (sometimes too comfortable!)...
Josh went to Zion with my sisters Dani, Jordan and her husband Jordan, and their friend Maria. They had a great time! Looks like it was gorgeous!

Bridger wanted us to take pics together...so this is what we got...some of them are a little too goofy for me to post...ha ha!
Poor Dasher somehow had a huge abscess on his neck...it was the size of an egg...we had to take him to the vet so they could do surgery on it. They opened it up, drained it, cleaned it out, and then put in drains. That was pretty gross...I'll spare you the pictures of the actual drain but you can kind of see it here...poor puppy...he's had two abscesses now!
Kenna wanted to be all wrapped up in the blanket and then sat on the floor watching Bridger's show with him. I wanted to post it mostly so we could remember the remnants of her black eye...poor girl! Sadly, I can't even remember how it happened...why oh why did I not post sooner?! LOL
This picture just about kills me. Kenna went to the pantry, pulled out a bag of chips, and then took them into Josh, plopped herself on his lap and dug in. Really?! After snapping a few pics of it, we took the chips away from her...much to her dismay!
Well, I said I was way behind...so there are some June happenings for you! I have more things to post from June, but will work on those tomorrow!
We got a canoe clear back in like May or June...Josh has been excited about it...and it will be fun for our family! We had to try it out, so we decided to head to the oh so beautiful waters of the Jordan River...doesn't it look lovely?! The water is nasty, but we had a good time testing out the canoe for the first time! My sister, Dani, lived with us for the summer (we're still missing her!)...so, she came along with us! The pictures at the park are from a stop they made along the river at Willow Park. Fun times!
Okay, I am so very behind in blogging...my goal (which I hope I will keep!!!) is to do a post a day and get kind of caught up with all I haven't blogged about...at least for the sake of my children!!! So, these posts are going to begin in oh maybe June or so...oh my... and I'll work my way up to today! Wish me luck!!!
My parents recently bought a home in Colorado as my dad got a job there. They moved all their stuff over there in July. They came to Utah over Labor Day weekend so they could finish up with the last of their things at the house. Sadly, I didn't get many pics because we were so busy working! We started out the morning very early heading up to Pocatello to see Whitney run...and yep no pics...shoot! The pic of Kenna in a box is hilarious...Jordan Paige was taking care of Kenna so I could get stuff done...Kenna wanted to sit in the box and wanted a drink of water from a big kid cup (aka not a sippy). She pretty much poured the water all over herself...she was dripping wet when she was done! After all the work around the house, my parents took us all to Sizzler...I think my kids loved the dessert the best...not surprised...love that Kenna get really get that messy!!!
Over Labor Day weekend, Josh's brother Adam and his wife Ashley were visiting from California. On that Sunday, we attended a fun surprise party for Adam...Ashley threw it for him to celebrate his college graduation. The following day we went to dinner and then went to a nearby park for yummy pie that Julie made! It was delish!!! The kids were also spoiled by Uncle Adam...he adores those two...he got Bridger a cool motorcyle/car set and Kenna a cute purse...they both love their surprises still!!! We had a great time visiting with everyone!
After dinner and pie in the park, Adam and Ashley were on their way to the airport. So, we decided to take the kids to the Bountiful temple...we were married there. We love that place! It's so gorgeous and calm and the kids loved it there too! We invited Josh's cute sister Feli to come along with us! It was nice to be on the temple grounds!
Yesterday I spread out a plastic table cloth and gave Bridger and Kenna a pile of shaving cream to play with...it was a bit messy, but they had a blast!!! It was definitely bath time after that craziness!!! They thoroughly enjoyed it though!!!
I have a ton of new posts that I need to get done...I will do that soon!!!!
We decided to put Bridger in soccer! He had his first game today! He was excited!! It's so cute and hilarious to watch a bunch of 4 year olds play soccer! Bridger isn't super competitive, so he's just along for the ride! By the end of the game he was actually running to the ball and trying to kick it, so that's awesome! Right in the middle of the game, he walks to his coach and said I want a drink from my water bottle...so over he came to me to get a drink! So funny! I think soccer is going to be great for him and that he'll really enjoy it!! Enjoy the pics from his first game...his face is really red in some because I took them after the game!
